Insight Partners, a comprehensive HVAC and solutions provider, announces a collaboration with The Urban League of Central Carolinas (ULCC), a prominent nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering communities, to develop and launch a workforce development program focused on HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) training. This community partnership aims to provide career opportunities to a more diverse talent pipeline and transition candidates from work-based learning to employment.
By leveraging their respective expertise and resources, the HVAC workforce development program will be jointly designed and implemented to offer training in HVAC skills to individuals from underserved communities and focus on providing them with the necessary knowledge and skills to succeed in the HVAC industry. This initiative is part of Insight Partners’ commitment to promoting diversity and inclusion in the workforce and ULCC’s mission to empower individuals and families to achieve economic self-reliance and social equality.
“We are excited to partner with The Urban League of Central Carolinas on this important workforce development program,” said Mark Murray, President of Insight Partners. “At Insight, we are committed to distinctive excellence. We believe providing access to quality training and employment opportunities is key to achieving excellence in our society. By working together, we become stronger. Together we can create a more inclusive workforce and foster economic empowerment. We believe in investing in our people, and this partnership aligns with our values of investing in individuals and communities to help them reach their full potential. We look forward to working with ULCC to make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals through this workforce development program.”
The HVAC workforce development program will offer a curriculum that covers technical skills, industry standards, safety protocols, and soft skills necessary for success in the HVAC field. Participants will have opportunities to engage in hands-on training, mentorship, job shadowing, and access to networking and job placement support. The program will create opportunities for employment at Insight Partners as well as offer networking opportunities in the HVAC industry upon the successful completion of the program.
On May 10, 2023, Insight Partners will host an on-site Lunch and Learn in their Charlotte office. More information about the program will be available through The Urban League of Central Carolinas’ website and other communication channels.
