The Urban League of Central Carolinas offers direct services through programming and advocacy here in the Central Carolinas. The ULCC currently operates and serves residents within a multi-county area:  Mecklenburg, Union, Cabarrus and Gaston, with a primary target in the underserved communities in the city of Charlotte. ULCC is committed to empowering underserved communities and changing the lives of people facing economic and employment disparities by helping them reach their potential.

Private support from clients, corporate organizations, and friends of the League plays a critical role in the success of the Urban League of Central Carolinas.  The mission of ULCC is to equip African Americans with the tools they need to achieve social and economic equality.  Through our CareerBridge program, a high-impact workforce development program, it addresses the need for middle-skill employment within progressive career paths through education & training which leads to family-sustainable employment, asset building and homeownership.

Through your generosity, a gift to the Urban League of Central Carolina’s Empowerment Fund will provide the organization the resources to enhance existing and new programming and unlock the potential in the lives of adults and family who need a hand up.
