COVID-19 RESPONSE
ULCC uses its voice as a leader in the community to:
In response to the multiple killings of unarmed Black people, like Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery and
George Floyd, ULCC was committed to protest and rally together to advocate for change. The ULCC has made it our mission to push forward in the fight and assist in ushering in the changes necessary for our community.
In partnership with the National Action Network, the National Coalition on Black Civic Participation, and the United States Centers for Disease Control, we have united to help combat the COVID 19 pandemic by helping our communities become informed about the vaccines and empowered to make the best decisions for them, their family and their communities.
League Up addresses social justice, advocacy, and empowerment through education, awareness, and creating environments to build UP everyone’s capacity to understand and navigate systems, build wealth through access to resources for financial wellness, home ownership, re-skilling and upskilling opportunities to improve social, financial, and economic mobility and parity.
League Up provides a full continuum approach to advocacy and awareness through learning and creating a system of support to address skills gaps, access to capital and business supports for the community and opportunities to close access and opportunity gaps through learning and development for everyone.
