Charlotte, N.C. — November 13, 2025 — The Urban League of Central Carolinas (ULCC) will host its Fall
Workforce Development Graduation on Thursday, November 13, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. at Mount Moriah
Baptist Church, 727 W. Trade Street in Charlotte. The ceremony will celebrate one of the largest
graduating cohorts in ULCC’s 47-year history, recognizing students who have completed certification and
career pathway programs in HVAC, Electrical/Maintenance, Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), and
Professional Services.

This year’s keynote address will be delivered by Mike Bryant, Mecklenburg County Manager, whose
leadership and commitment to community advancement continue to inspire collaboration and
innovation across the region.

The event will also include a special recognition for fathers enrolled in ULCC’s EMPOWERING Fathers
program, highlighting their personal and professional growth through workforce and life skills
development.

“Our graduates represent the future of Charlotte’s workforce—skilled, resilient, and ready to contribute
to the growth of our local economy,” said Robyn Hamilton, President and CEO of the Urban League of
Central Carolinas. “We are honored to have County Manager Bryant share words of encouragement as
they embark on this next chapter of opportunity.”

The ULCC continues to drive economic mobility through its workforce programs, helping individuals
across Mecklenburg County obtain training, credentials, and access to high-demand careers. The
organization remains a trusted partner in advancing equity, education, and employment for all.
Community leaders, corporate partners, and family members will join to celebrate these graduates and
their achievements. The event is open to invited guests and media.
